Traffic Accidents in Funchal
On March 5th, a 37-year-old man was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a car in the Boa Nova area of Funchal. The man sustained pelvic pain and was promptly attended to by the Bombeiros Voluntários Madeirenses. He was subsequently transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for further evaluation and treatment.
In a separate incident, a 27-year-old motorcyclist suffered lumbar injuries following a crash on the expressway to Camacha. This accident, which occurred late at night, required the intervention of the Bombeiros Sapadores de Santa Cruz. The injured party was also taken to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, emphasizing the need for cautious driving on Madeira's roads.

The force of the impact left him unconscious, and he was rushed to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, where he remains in critical care.
