João Izidio Figueira Ferraz, a resident of Vereda dos Arrifes in Câmara de Lobos, passed away on March 1, 2026. His funeral was held on March 2, 2026, with a service at the cemetery chapel of Nossa Senhora das Angústias in São Martinho, followed by cremation. The family has expressed gratitude to everyone who joined them in this time of grief and announced a memorial mass to be held on March 8, 2026, at the parish church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, Câmara de Lobos.

João Alberto Melim, from Porto Santo's Estrada do Parque Empresarial, also passed away on March 1, 2026.
