In a recent traffic incident in Madeira, a collision between a motorcycle and a car left a motorcyclist injured. The accident occurred in the Meia Légua area of Ribeira Brava, involving local emergency services including the Volunteer Firefighters of Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol.

The injured motorcyclist, whose identity has not been disclosed, suffered abrasions and was promptly attended to by emergency responders at the scene. He was transported to Hospital Dr Nélio Mendonça for further medical evaluation and treatment.

In a separate but related incident, another accident involving a motorcycle and car occurred in the Boa Nova area of Funchal. A 37-year-old man sustained pelvic injuries and was also taken to Hospital Dr Nélio Mendonça. This highlights the recurring issue of motorcycle safety on the island's roads.
