On March 5th and 7th, Madeira witnessed multiple motorcycle accidents in different locations, resulting in injuries to young men. On March 5th, a 37-year-old man suffered pelvic injuries in a crash with a car in the Boa Nova area of Funchal. The young man was suspected of having a leg fracture and received immediate medical attention.

A dog, having gotten trapped in a levada, was rescued by firefighters on Rua Engenheiro Adelino Amaro da Costa in Funchal. The dog had sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local clinic for care.
