His funeral will occur on February 25, 2026, beginning at the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and proceeding to the São Brás Parish Church for a mass at 16:00, before being laid to rest at the local cemetery. A seventh-day mass will be held on March 1, 2026, at the same church.
Manuel João Teixeira's Farewell
Manuel João Teixeira, a resident of Porto Moniz, also passed on February 24, 2026. His funeral is scheduled for February 25, 2026, starting from the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, leading to a service at Santa Maria Madalena Parish Church at 11:00.
