Jaime Moniz students and teachers join Erasmus+ mobility in Poland

Students and teachers from Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz took part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Łódź, Poland, from 21 to 25 September 2026. The visit was part of the project "Eco-Citizens for a Sustainable Europe" (2025-1-EL01-KA210-SCH-000356039).
The project brings together schools from Greece, Poland and Portugal to promote ecological citizenship, environmental sustainability and cultural exchange among young participants.
Participants visited the partner school, VI Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Łódź, and took part in sustainability activities and workshops, including photography and video sessions for environmental education.
The programme included a visit to Warsaw, including the building that houses the European Parliament Liaison Office in Poland, where the group took part in activities linked to the project's objectives. The stay also included visits to Łódź, Kraków and Warsaw, with historical and architectural heritage sites, green spaces and urban parks.
According to the school, the experience contributed to participants' knowledge of sustainability and European citizenship and to the development of autonomy, cooperation and openness to new cultures, habits and ways of living.
