Grave Assault at Praia Formosa

On the evening of March 6th, the Funchal Fire Brigade was dispatched to Praia Formosa following a severe assault. A man in his forties was found unconscious at the scene. After receiving immediate medical attention, he was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital. The Public Security Police (PSP) were also present to investigate the incident.

Motorbike Accident on the Expressway

Earlier on March 6th, a motorbike and a car collided on the expressway near Santa Rita, heading towards Funchal from Câmara de Lobos. The accident occurred around 11 a.m., injuring a 35-year-old female motorcyclist. She suffered injuries to her leg and arm and was taken to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for treatment.

Car Fire on Highway Access

On March 4th, the Funchal Fire Brigade responded to a car fire on the highway access from Pilar. Fortunately, the driver managed to extinguish the flames before the fire truck arrived. This incident highlights the vigilance and quick response of local drivers and emergency services.
