The covered regional pool inland at Santa Cruz, with a gym attached - the rainy-day answer near the airport, and not the seafront bathing complex of the same town.

Santa Cruz has two things called a pool: this indoor one near Bom Jesus, run by the regional sports directorate, and the municipal open-air complex down on the seafront. It was working in July 2026, when it hosted a swimming festival, but neither its hours nor its prices are published anywhere that could be verified, and unlike its sister pools it has no page in the directorate's facility database at all.

Worth knowing: Do not aim for the seafront if you want this pool - it is inland, and the two are separate operations. Ring 291 526 705 first: with no published hours, a drive out here is a gamble.

Not published. Regional pools charge under Portaria n.º 505/2019, and no figure for this one could be verified. Swimming is arranged through drd@madeira.gov.pt; whether casual entry is sold at all is unconfirmed.
