The OCM gives its Christmas concert starting on 12 December at 18:00, with the listing running until 20:00 on 13 December. The listing carries no programme, soloists or ticket details, so it is worth checking the organiser's announcement nearer the date. For visitors in Madeira for the run-up to Christmas, an orchestra concert is an easy evening out that needs no Portuguese.
The listing names the venue as Vila Baleira, the town on Porto Santo, yet puts the concert in Funchal; confirm the venue with the organiser before you book a ferry or a bus.
Experience the Christmas concert by the Diário de Notícias da Madeira featuring the Orquestra Clássica da Madeira. Two performances are scheduled on December 12 and 13 at 18:00.
