Associação Palco Vazio performs the play "Casa de Bonecas" ("A Doll's House") at the Casa da Cultura de Câmara de Lobos. There is one performance on Friday 6 November at 21:00 and two on Saturday 7 November, at 17:00 and 20:30. The run is part of ETAPA, Encontro de Teatro e Arte na Paisagem, a theatre and arts programme organised by Câmara de Lobos town council. Seats are reserved by phone on 914 688 790, so call ahead rather than turning up at the door. It's a good choice if you want an evening of local theatre in a fishing town rather than in Funchal, and if you follow Portuguese.

Practical information

Câmara de Lobos is a short drive west of Funchal, and Horários do Funchal town buses run there from the city centre. For the 21:00 and 20:30 shows, check the time of the last bus back before you go, or plan on a taxi.
