Accident Details
On February 24, at approximately 16:30, a collision involving three cars occurred on the via rápida heading from Câmara de Lobos to Estreito. A woman in her 50s was injured, experiencing chest pains due to the seatbelt's impact. She was subsequently transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for further evaluation.
Later the same day, another accident was reported involving a motorcycle and two cars in the tunnel of Viveiros, in the direction from Funchal to Caniço. This collision resulted in a 56-year-old woman sustaining a suspected arm fracture along with other injuries. She was also taken to the same hospital.
Previous Incidents
Just a day before, on February 23, five cars were involved in a collision near the Boa Nova area, also heading towards Caniço. Two individuals suffered minor injuries, including a 48-year-old man who complained of chest pain. All injured parties were transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça.
