The expansion is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), with a total investment of approximately 2.2 million euros. This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the regional government to improve living conditions and services for the aging population of Madeira.
Paula Margarido, the Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Work, and Youth, will be visiting the facility on March 10th to oversee the progress of the construction work. Her visit underscores the government's commitment to enhancing social care services across the island.
