Car Fire on Highway Access
In the late afternoon, the Bombeiros Sapadores do Funchal were dispatched to a car fire on the access road to the highway from Pilar. Motorcycle Accidents Injure Several
Earlier in the day, at around 10 AM, a young woman in her twenties suffered a minor injury after losing control of her motorcycle on Caminho do Cemitério. She was promptly attended to and transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for further treatment.
In a separate incident on March 2, two young men, aged 17 and 20, were involved in another motorcycle accident on Rua Bela Santiago. They sustained injuries and were also taken to the same hospital. The 17-year-old had knee abrasions, while the other passenger's injuries were not specified.
Fallen Tree Causes Power Disruption
