In a heartening initiative, the Federação Portuguesa de Futebol (FPF) has announced the launch of 'MUCH MORE than the national team's bracelet'—a campaign that transforms sporting allegiance into a force for social good. This campaign is aimed at supporting the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro, demonstrating how sports and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
Replica bracelets identical to those worn by the Portuguese National Team players during their competitions will soon be available at Continente stores. These bracelets, highlighted by international player Vitinha, serve not only as a symbol of support for the team but also as a tangible contribution to a vital cause.
Each bracelet is priced at one euro, with 50 cents from each sale going directly to the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro. This initiative not only aims to raise funds but also to increase awareness about cancer and support those affected by it.
In addition to the bracelet campaign, the local branch of the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro is organizing a concert featuring the band D’Repente.
