Maria Clara da Silva, a resident of Estrada do Moreno, Ribeira Brava, was remembered fondly by her family and friends. Her funeral took place on June 2, 2026, with a mass held at the parish church of São João in Ribeira Brava. Community members gathered to accompany the cortege from the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça to the cemetery.
Honoring Celestino José de Castro
Celestino José de Castro, from Caminho da Pedra Mole, Porto Moniz, was commemorated on the same day.
