During a recent visit to the center, Paula Margarido, the regional secretary for Inclusion, Work, and Youth, praised the center's positive growth trajectory. She highlighted the consistent increase in both overnight stays and revenue, which reflects the center's growing popularity and importance as a hub for youth activities on the island.

Accompanied by André Alves, the regional director of Youth, and Doroteia Leça, the mayor of Calheta, Margarido's visit emphasized the regional government's commitment to supporting youth infrastructure on the island. The visit underscored the strategic importance of such facilities in promoting youth engagement and tourism in Madeira.
