Though the official opening is set for June 19, the festivities began early with a series of performances that promise to captivate audiences. On the evening of June 14, local singer Sónia Soares opened the event at 9:15 PM on the city's main stage at Largo do Pelourinho, followed by a performance by the Madeiran band Aoakaso at 10:30 PM.
These cultural festivities, which will run until June 24, are a highlight on Porto Santo's event calendar. The celebrations include a variety of performances and activities, emphasizing the island's rich traditions and community spirit.
