Manuel Bruno de Freitas Quintal

Manuel Bruno de Freitas Quintal, a resident of Sítio do Porto Novo in the parish of Gaula, Santa Cruz, passed away on April 1, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Fátima Matos da Mata Quintal, children, and an extended family who shared in his life and legacy. His funeral will be held on April 2, 2026, beginning with a service at the Nossa Senhora da Luz Church in Gaula, followed by burial at the municipal cemetery.

Rosa de Gouveia Batista

Rosa de Gouveia Batista, from Sítio Achada do Barro, Santo António da Serra, Santa Cruz, also passed away on April 1, 2026. Her funeral will take place on the morning of April 2, 2026, at the São Martinho Municipal Cemetery in Funchal. Rosa is remembered fondly by her sisters, nephews, and a wide circle of friends and relatives who will gather to celebrate her life.

João de Freitas Miranda

On the same date, João de Freitas Miranda from Caminho do Margaçal, Ribeira de Machico, Santo António da Serra, was also mourned by his family, including his wife Maria da Conceição Gouveia dos Reis and their children. His funeral will be held at the Santo António da Serra Parish Church, with interment in the local cemetery.
