A 53-year-old man was injured, suffering from rib cage pain and breathing difficulties. He was promptly attended to and transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for further care.
Assault on a Young Man
Earlier, on February 17, at around 5 a.m., a young 18-year-old man was assaulted at Avenida Sá Carneiro. The Firefighters of Funchal responded swiftly, and the victim was taken to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital after receiving initial treatment on-site.
