The proposal was one of the main topics discussed during a recent meeting involving various levels of command from the Public Security Police (PSP), including two regional commanders, the commander of the Machico Division, and the commander of the Santa Cruz precinct. The meeting also included local parish presidents and served as an opportunity to greet the new executive team.
During the discussions, another significant topic was the Santa Cruz Mobility Plan. The president of the municipality, Élia Ascensão, emphasized the desire for the PSP to play an active role in shaping this plan, which aims to improve transportation and mobility within the region.
