The Ribeira Brava Junta has once again shown its commitment to education by distributing over 400 Christmas gifts to local educational institutions.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Junta de Freguesia of Ribeira Brava distributed more than 400 Christmas gifts to creches, pre-schools, and primary schools within the freguesia. The initiative, described as a demonstration of prioritizing education, also extended to one of the facilities of the Social and Parish Center of São Bento.

João Pedro Correia, the president of the Junta, emphasized the importance of supporting educational institutions, noting that it is crucial to maintain a close relationship with local entities, particularly schools. Correia, who previously served as treasurer in the past executive, expressed his commitment to continuing the supportive work initiated by the former administration.

The initiative was not only aimed at spreading holiday cheer but also at reinforcing the Junta's dedication to the educational sector, which they view as vital for nurturing the future leaders of the community.

The school is shaping tomorrow's leaders. It makes perfect sense to work closely with our local entities, especially educational ones.

João Pedro Correia

The Ribeira Brava Junta takes this opportunity to wish a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to all residents of Ribeira Brava and Madeira.
