The event underscored the strength and vitality of scouting, guiding, and other youth associations in the region.
Paula Margarido, the Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Employment, and Youth, represented the President of the Regional Government at the event. Held in Porto da Cruz, the celebrations were organized by the Corpo Nacional de Escutas and saw the active involvement of around 630 individuals, including children, young people, leaders, and volunteers.
Margarido reiterated the government's unwavering support for youth associations, emphasizing their crucial role in fostering community engagement and personal development among young people in Madeira.
