Motorcycle and Car Collision

In Funchal, a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Estrada dos Marmeleiros resulted in injuries to both parties involved. The 39-year-old motorcyclist suffered injuries to his spine, neck, and knee, requiring immobilization on a hard board. The car's driver, a 57-year-old woman, experienced dizziness and distress following the collision. Both individuals were transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for further treatment.

Pedestrian Accident in Machico

Earlier in Machico, a woman in her 60s was struck by a vehicle on Rua da Árvore. She sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Urgencies of Centro de Saúde de Machico. The incident underscores the need for pedestrian safety enhancements in the area.

Workplace Fall in Cancela

In Cancela, a worker fell from a height of three meters in a warehouse, sustaining a head injury and oral bleeding. Emergency medical teams, including EMIR, provided immediate assistance before transporting him to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça.

Cardiac Arrest in Funchal

A man in his 70s suffered a cardiac arrest at a business on Rua das Murças in Funchal. Thanks to the swift response of EMIR and local firefighters, he was resuscitated and taken to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. Car Accident on Rua Bela Santiago

Finally, a collision between two cars on Rua Bela Santiago in Funchal left a 51-year-old man with neck pain. He was also taken to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, marking yet another incident requiring emergency response.
