The following morning, on May 12, 2026, at approximately 7:55 AM, a car fire erupted on Travessa Doutor Fernando Rebelo, near Escola do Tanque in Santo António. The incident required the attention of 13 firefighters and four vehicles. The rapid response helped contain the fire, minimizing damage and ensuring public safety.
