The incident occurred around 11:15 PM, prompting a response from the Funchal Fire Brigade. The victim was transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for medical attention. The Public Security Police (PSP) are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.
Earlier that same day, another assault took place involving an 18-year-old on Avenida Sá Carneiro. This incident occurred around 5 AM, with the young man also being transported to the same hospital for treatment. Residential Fire in São Martinho
In the early hours of February 17th, a fire broke out in the attic of a house located on Travessa das Quebradas de Baixo in São Martinho. The blaze was reported at approximately 4 AM, requiring the immediate action of 13 firefighters and four firefighting vehicles to control the flames. There were no reports of injuries, but the extent of the damage to the property is still being assessed.
