Residents and tourists in Madeira will experience a minor adjustment in fuel prices, effective from January 12, 2026. According to the latest official announcement, the new maximum prices for fuel in the Autonomous Region of Madeira have been established.
The price adjustments are as follows: Unleaded petrol IO 95 will be priced at €1.539 per litre, road diesel at €1.419 per litre, and coloured and marked diesel at €0.943 per litre. Among these, the coloured and marked diesel has seen the most notable price increase.
These changes come as part of the routine price adjustments regulated by Portaria n.º 25/2022, dated January 26. While the increase is described as residual, it is essential for both locals and visitors to be informed about these updates, as they are crucial for budgeting travel and transportation costs.
