The Orfeão Madeirense is leading the 28th edition of the Christmas Choir Festival, aptly named 'Christmas in Funchal.' Having already performed on the 17th and 19th of December, the festival will continue with three more performances before the year ends. These will take place at the Sé do Funchal on December 27th, Igreja do Carmo on December 29th, and conclude at the Colegio Cathedral on December 30th. All concerts are scheduled to begin at 21:30.
The festival features a diverse lineup of choral groups, including the Choral Group of the Casa do Povo de São Roque do Faial, the Choral Group of the Casa do Povo da Camacha, the Ensemble Flores de Maio, and the Choral Group of the S.F.IC.M. de Gansaria from Santarém.
