Maria José Pinto, a resident of Curral das Freiras, passed away on April 14, 2026. Her funeral is scheduled for April 15, leaving from the Hospital dos Marmeleiros to the church of Nossa Senhora do Livramento. A procession will follow to the local cemetery. A special mass will be held on April 19 to commemorate her life.

Rosa Maria da Silva Sousa: Farewell in Câmara de Lobos

Rosa Maria da Silva Sousa, a beloved figure in Câmara de Lobos, will be laid to rest on April 15. Her funeral service will begin at the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and proceed to the chapel of Nossa Senhora das Angústias, concluding with a cremation. The family will hold a memorial mass on April 19.

JoĂŁo Fernando de Sousa: Remembering a Funchal Resident

João Fernando de Sousa, from Funchal, passed away on April 14. His funeral took place the same day, starting from Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça to the cemetery chapel in São Martinho. A memorial mass is planned for April 17 at the Sagrada Família parish.

Maria Irene Soares Rodrigues da Silva: A Tribute in Câmara de Lobos

The community of Câmara de Lobos gathered to honor Maria Irene Soares Rodrigues da Silva on April 14. Her funeral procession began at Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and moved to the local cemetery. A mass of remembrance is set for April 18 at Nossa Senhora do Carmo parish.
