In the late afternoon, the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters were dispatched to Rua Bela Santiago in Funchal, where a collision between two vehicles occurred. A 51-year-old man was injured, suffering from cervical pain. He received medical attention and was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for further care.
Vehicle Fire in Caminho de Santa Quitéria
Earlier that morning, the Funchal Firefighters were called to Caminho de Santa Quitéria to extinguish a vehicle fire. The blaze resulted in the complete destruction of the car.
