The Diocese of Funchal, in collaboration with Justino's, one of Madeira's renowned wine producers, is set to unveil a new "Missa Wine" specifically crafted for liturgical use. This wine will be officially presented on January 23 at noon during the Clergy Update Days held at the Diocesan Seminary.

The event, which is private and exclusive to clergy and media representatives, aims to introduce the wine that has received the official endorsement of the Diocese of Funchal. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste this unique wine, which has been specially produced for the celebration of the Eucharist.

The introduction of this new "Missa Wine" signifies both a nod to tradition and a step forward in the local wine industry. Madeira, famed for its wine production, continues to innovate while honoring its historical roots. The event underscores the importance of wine in the religious and cultural practices on the island.

Justino's, a key player in Madeira's wine scene, has long been associated with quality and tradition, making them an ideal partner for this ecclesiastical venture.
