Among the three cruise ships, the 'AIDAbella' was the first to dock early in the morning, carrying 2,824 individuals, including 2,192 passengers. This vessel will remain in Funchal to allow its guests to enjoy the island's renowned New Year fireworks display, a major attraction that draws thousands of visitors annually.
The 'AIDAbella' is on a 12-day cruise exploring the Cruise Atlantic Islands (CAI) and Morocco. After the New Year festivities, it will depart for Fuerteventura in the early hours of January 1st, continuing its journey.
