His funeral is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Monte Cemetery, with a subsequent mass on January 27, 2026, at the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte.
Maria José Gouveia de Castro Abreu
Maria José Gouveia de Castro Abreu, from the São Gonçalo parish, was remembered by her husband Sidónio and her children. Her funeral will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the Nossa Senhora da Piedade Cemetery in São Gonçalo. A mass will be held on January 28, 2026, at the São Gonçalo Parish Church.
José Ferdinando Pestana
José Ferdinando Pestana, mourned by his godson and friends, will be laid to rest on Friday, January 23, 2026, following a 1:00 PM service at the Chapel of the Nossa Senhora das Angústias Cemetery in São Martinho. A mass is planned for January 27, 2026, at the Fátima Parish Church.
