ACIF-CCIM has taken a delegation of maritime tourism entrepreneurs from Madeira to the Boot International Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, to promote business contacts and enhance the international presence of local businesses in the maritime economy sector.

The Associação Comercial e Industrial do Funchal – Câmara de Comércio e Indústria da Madeira (ACIF-CCIM) has organized a delegation of maritime tourism entrepreneurs from Madeira to attend the Boot International Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. The event, which runs until January 25, aims to foster business contacts and boost the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in the maritime economy.

The initiative is part of the A3M Atlantic project, funded by the Interreg MAC 2021-2027 program, and includes collaboration with PROEXCA and the Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands. These efforts are designed to position Madeira's businesses more prominently on the global stage and strengthen economic ties within the maritime sector.

The Boot Fair is one of the largest international events in the maritime sector, offering a platform for participants to engage with industry leaders and explore new markets and opportunities. For Madeira, a popular tourist destination, this represents a significant opportunity to showcase its maritime tourism offerings and attract new business partnerships.

Madeira, known for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage, has increasingly looked to the maritime sector to diversify its economy. The participation in the Boot Fair underscores the island's commitment to expanding its reach and influence within this vital industry.
